Tutoring Taberna

Last Sunday, while we were in our Infote Class, a friend of Mine - who is in Manila - texted me. She said, "I think I'm looking at you and Emerson's picture in today's Inquirer. Volunteer Tutors sa Taberna, tama ba? c",) wow! galing galing!" "Really?!", I texted her back. I was surprised... yes, I was still surprised even if we were already informed about a month ago that an article on our Free Tutorials project will come out in the national newspapers. Wow! We're actually on a national paper. For some it might be ordinary, but for us, it's the first time for our pictures to appear on national newspaper. I texted family members, cousins and other relatives to get hold of a copy. It was around 3pm and we were still in class (Ateneo Regis MBA Infote Class), which would end at around 5pm. None of them texted back immediately. So, right after class... anxious that there might not be newspapers available anymore, we toured the side streets of SM City to scout for newspaper vendors. Finally! There was one manang who had one last copy of the Sunday Inquirer! We bought it right that instant... it was even a bit damp since it had just rained. Anyway, we still bought it. Our one and only treasured copy of the Sunday Inquirer... If you have a copy, you may check out the article in the Lifestyle Section page F3 of the newspaper. =) - Dara Lynn
